"Sir, disturbance tracked local to the point of entry. Recalculate?"
"Yes, thank you. 1st officer?"
"Yessir?"
"Take the ship down, I'd like to investigate further....anything on this disturbance?"
"Aye, sir. It's a transmission. Posting it on Band 14."
"Good."
In front of the Captain's nose, a little monitor flickered into life. A green line scoped a sound wave picked up somewhere in space.

"...in peace."

He sighed, and pushed a large button on the control panel infront of him. He knew it would automatically send a transmission back into the space they had just left that possible alien contact had been made and further information would be along shortly. A bank of red lights began to flicker, illuminating the darkened bridge, reflecting off black peak of the Captain's cap. The view from the windows in front began to change, the shape of a planet could be half-seen, shimmering. It was just visible through the weakened space-time. A klaxon began to sound.

"Attention all decks, ship dropping from warp. Turn-face front side and secure." came the the amplified voice of the Captain.

High above Callidium, space seemed to bend. Light was travelling in a slightly different way to how you'd expect, and the stars were changing shape. Somewhere, it was impossible to tell how far away it was, or even if it were a part of this universe, a huge grey block could be seen approaching. With a flash of light, it pushed its way into vision, with a flash of light, it solidified from black tear in space-time and into a whole new section of the galaxy as to where it had started. The grey shape revealed itself to be a huge Marcian Bulwark class starship, massive, imposing and a few thousand lightyears form its planned destination.

In the red-lit bridge of the ship, a hurried conversation was ensuing.
"Officer? Where are we?"
"Commonwealth space, sir."
"Oh. Good, that could be a lot worse. Ship's condition?"
"All fine, sir."
"Sir?" came a new voice, "multiple lobbies on the communications, sir."
"Ignore them for now."

He picked up a speaking horn and whistled into it, activating the microphone, "Hailing 'Kingdom of Everlight'," he said, a touch awkwardly, "This is Captain Ferrel of the Lord Admiral's Ship Aurorae, of the Marcian Empire. We received your previous transmission."

Ferrel waited for the aliens to reply. A few kilometers of camouflaged metal fell into a very high orbit of the Sonran planet.
